Emer is one of our brand spanking new recruits, class of 2021.

She is studying for her Masters in Drama and Theatre in NUIG and runs her own rental Airbnb business. She has a great passion for the outdoors and has been hiking since childhood. She is happy that she was part of the first group of girls to be permitted entry into the Scouts when she was young.

Her passion for adventure and the outdoors has taken her all over the world, hiking in Nepal, Ecuador and Mt Fuji in Japan to name a few. She has also worked as a PADI dive instructor in Australia, El Salvador and Mexico. She even spent her honeymoon in Kerry climbing Carrauntoohil. Her father's family hailed from the back of the Reek and they spent their days going up and down its rocky surface counting sheep so scrambling around Croagh Patrick and other mountains in Mayo is in her blood.
